With this new “Xtreme” offering, we can now provide high-speed, wireless internet to just about anyone, anywhere, anytime using the Verizon Wireless National Broadband Network. "Broadband on Demand" Going to be somewhere for a week, 10 days, a month or more in which Internet access will be spotty at best using land lines or Wi-Fi? This is a great option. Access to Verizon’s National Data Network is not dependent on Wi-Fi hotspots. The connection is “instant on” (no user name or password). It is very secure, and coverage areas are vast. The signal, like cellular, will penetrate buildings, boats, trees, and such; therefore allowing access just about everywhere, even on the move! Coverage and expected data rates should be checked for the areas in which you intend on visiting to make sure they meet your expectations. In general, 700k-1.2+mb (DSL speeds) in BroadbandAccess areas and 80k-150k (much better than dial-up) in National Access areas (pretty much anywhere you can get a Verizon cell signal. Can you hear me now?)

Anyone placing an order and/or taking receipt of this product agrees to the following statements: These devices are, and remain the property of YachtSpots, Inc. Minimum system requirements are Windows 2000 Pro (SP4), Windows XP (SP2), Windows Vista or Mac OS X 10.3.9 and an available Type A USB port. You agree to return the device back at the end of your subscription, all pieces, working, and in good condition. If the device is not received within 3 days after the subscription ends, a $25.00 late fee will be charged to your account on record. If the device is damaged, lost, stolen, or not received within 7 days after the end of your subscription, $75.00 will be charged to your account on record. If the USB cable is lost or damaged, $25.00 will be charged to your account on record. Lost or stolen devices will be reported as such to the proper authorities. If unable to obtain fees from your account on record, YachtSpots, Inc. will seek other means for payment. You have checked to make sure there is adequate coverage in the places you will be visiting. There are no refunds for unused time with this offering. The minimum subscription is $44.95 for 1 - 7 days access, each additional day is $6.95. The subscription starts on the date the device is delivered according to postal tracking data. This service does not include YachtSpots Wi-Fi access; a separate plan is needed.

This type of Internet access is provided similar to your cell phone. There may be some areas in which a broadband signal is not available. Check to make sure adequate coverage is available that meets your travel needs.
