Why YachtSpots?

This service can be likened to a payphone or a news stand on your premises.  Even though an deep understanding of how it all works is not necessary, you will want this service to work well for you and your customers.  YachtSpots and our partnership with NetNearU (NNU) can offer such benefits as a Nationwide presence, Toll-free customer support, World-class management  software (the heartbeat of a wireless service), and the ability to Roam thousands of locations around the US, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean.  This partnership allows a listing on NNUs Global Database as a wireless location.  The NetNearU website contains a directory of all locations where Wi-Fi customers can roam.  This increases awareness because most roaming users will choose their travel route based upon where they can get Wi-Fi access. The effect similar to the loyalty of a frequent flyer program.

In the wireless "hot-spot" business, a successful offering is directly tied to the back-office solution which provides services such as user tracking, billing, and customer support.  While it was mentioned knowing how this all works is not necessary, it is important that you understand why it will not work.  When a user or prospective user signs into an Internet "hot-spot", certain things happen to allow them access to the Internet such as AAA Authentication, credit card approvals and transactions, dynamic laptop configuration, and technical support if needed.  Some venders have developed their own networks while others have partnered with an already operational facility.  These back-office systems are crucial to the operation of the service.  If the controlling software locks up, or the AAA Authentication server fails, or customer support falls short, the network will not function properly.

YachtSpots is in partnership with the NetNearU (NNU) company.
